Let’s not talk about resources

Let’s not talk about resources,
It only gets us down,
We struggle and fight, aware of our plight,
But management only frown.

“We can’t talk about resources,
It’s easier to talk about cost,
And budgets and risks and how many are sick,
But don’t tell me how much we’ve lost.
We don’t talk about resources,
I don’t have any to give,
But I want this project delivered to my doorstep,
Don’t care you’ve lost the will to live”

I don’t have any resources,
I need to think for a while,
And talk to my friend, who’s a bloody godsend,
He said “Perhaps you need to go agile!”
